Women in Sales: an event co-organized by Foodles!
Foodles continues to be committed to supporting equity in the workplace.
On Tuesday March 21st, Manon Murat-Prats, one of our Sales Managers, represented Foodles at a talk & drink organized by WomenInSales. The goal was to have the opportunity to exchange on the topics of parity and performance. The discussions were centered around soft skills for success in the commercial world.
Around the table:
👉 Vanessa Amsili, Head of Sales and Sales Coach at iconoClass, +15 years of experience, former Groupon and LVMH.
👉 Emilie Ribo, Graduate Coach at Un Coaching A Soi, +10 years of experience, former Salesforce and Toucan (toucantoco.com).
👉 Manon Murats-Prats, Sales Manager at Foodles for 5 years
The event was attended by 95 female (and a few male!) salespeople. A great success for this first Talk & Drink event that highlighted the capabilities of women!
But in concrete terms: what is the situation of women at Foodles?
Today, Foodles is 49% female staff overall and 57% for the sales team. A nice evolution compared to last year when Foodles had only 36% female employees overall 🔥
At Foodles, we are convinced that everyone benefits from "selling to women".
Indeed, women can tip the balance over a male profile with the same level of soft skills, especially in sales. The qualities of the saleswomen at Foodles, mentioned by Manon, can be listed as follows:
- "Observations of the reactions of the other with much more creativity and curiosity in the commercial approaches
- An ability to find the middle way and compromise while maintaining a high level of endurance in the face of a multiplicity of interlocutors
- A strong negotiation ability that works very well in complementarity with a man, especially on very complex sales
- Increased resilience that leads to performance (a warrior's attitude in the face of complexity!)
- Working in a team with women is also less fractious and more in harmony with others, which clearly facilitates team wins.”
In addition, as part of our desire for gender equity, several actions have been implemented within our company: the right to disconnect with the limitation of meetings before 9:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m., a parenthood charter (miscarriage leave, sick child days, equal rights for PMA, adoption for parents and co-parents, etc.), a partnership with Alan Mind for the mental health of employees, a telecommuting charter, etc.
And all of this translates into the well-being and satisfaction of these women to evolve in the company, which is how Foodles notably obtained the 3rd place on the podium of companies with more than 150 employees: #HappyIndex©AtWork/Women by ChooseMyCompany this year! 🥳
