Make way for collaborative initiatives!
Collaborative initiatives are a powerful tool for achieving a company's goals. At Foodles, this approach involves encouraging employees to take initiatives, propose innovative ideas, and participate in activities beyond their roles.
But how do collaborative initiatives lead to employee fulfillment?
Often seen as a means to boost productivity, they also offer significant benefits for employees, such as boosting self-esteem, improving interpersonal relationships, and increasing professional engagement. These key factors contribute to employee fulfillment.
How does this take shape at Foodles?
To establish a culture of employee initiative, it's essential to create an environment conducive to expressing and implementing ideas. Leaders should actively encourage employee participation by valuing their contributions and recognizing the results achieved. Implementing transparent communication and dedicated spaces for idea exchange also promote initiative and collaboration.
At Foodles, it's very easy to take initiative and have the support of colleagues, which aligns with the company's values.
Indeed, Foodles emphasizes commitment, a value reflected in several initiatives, as demonstrated by Mathilde and Gaëlle's organization of a second-hand clothing sale to reduce carbon footprint, resulting in the sale of 500 items and saving 1,244 tons of CO2!

This commitment has also led our employees to organize a donation drive (both material and financial) in support of the Ukraine conflict.
Another strong value that comes into play is teamwork, and as seen in the examples mentioned, when an employee proposes an action, they are consistently supported.
All of this strengthens the engagement of Foodlers by fostering a sense of belonging to a team and their confidence in their ability to influence change.
This approach also improves the quality of work life by allowing employees to make decisions more quickly and solve problems. The example of the Chatbot initiated by Louis, Head of Product, illustrates this approach well. He had previously developed a Chatbot for customers but after a day with a significant number of requests from colleagues, he decided to redirect his Chatbot internally, soliciting input from other Foodlers about recurring questions. By combining his technical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and teamwork, Louis created a tool that provides answers to about ten colleagues' questions daily. This also significantly reduced the number of emails sent to various internal departments.

Collaborative initiatives are, therefore, a real driver at Foodles for the company's success and the fulfillment of employees, creating a virtuous circle of innovation, productivity, and engagement.
