Burnout: How Foodles is committed to the well-being of its employees
Every year, European Depression Day reminds us of the importance of mental health in our daily lives, especially in the workplace. At Foodles, we see this day as an opportunity to raise awareness among our employees and partners about a crucial issue: burnout.
Recognizing Early Signs of Burnout:
😴 Unusual Fatigue: One of the most common signs of burnout is persistent and unusual fatigue. At Foodles, we encourage our colleagues to take regular breaks, manage their working hours, and recognize when they need to recharge.
💤 Sleep Problems: Sleep disturbances are often linked to burnout. Foodles promotes a work-life balance, encouraging a "disconnect" after working hours.
❓ Loss of Interest: When employees begin to lose enthusiasm for their work, it's a concerning sign. We foster an environment where everyone can express themselves, innovation is encouraged through collaborative initiatives, and tasks are diverse to maintain interest.
📉 Decreased Performance: Reduced productivity and work quality is a clear sign of distress. We offer continuous support and training to help our employees improve their skills.
Foodles' Preventive Measures:
🗣️ Open Communication: At Foodles, we promote a culture of open feedback (360). Our "Gourmils" are encouraged to voice their concerns, discuss their needs, and seek help when necessary.
🗓️ Flexibility: Foodles encourages work flexibility, allowing schedules that suit personal needs while meeting professional requirements.
🧘 Well-being Programs: We offer well-being activities, including yoga and fitness sessions to help our employees relax and maintain a healthy balance.
⚽ Foodles also promotes sports to unwind and recharge emotional batteries, such as Monday evening football or gym memberships in partnership with "Orange Bleu" for our employees, including gym and strength training facilities.
Numerous studies show that physical activity is a great way to prevent and alleviate burnout.
🪧 Awareness: Through regular awareness campaigns, we remind our Foodlers of the importance of mental health and available resources when needed.
The Alan Mind platform (linked to Alan, the insurance offered by Foodles) helps raise awareness among employees and managers about mental well-being issues and supports those who need it through training, individual therapy or coaching sessions, and a personalized app. This platform helps employees become aware of a possible burnout state. The first step to feeling better is to be aware of it, accept it, and activate a healing plan.
Foodles also provides access to Livi, which enables online medical consultations, not only for mental well-being but for broader health concerns as well.
Ultimately, prevention is the key to fighting burnout. By recognizing early signs and implementing preventive measures, we are committed to offering a healthy work environment where our employees can thrive.
Take care of yourself! 🧡
