Foodles has raised £40M so far with top-tier UK and French VCs and is entering the UK market with the ambition to become the European leader for new gen B2B canteens! For this we are recruiting an A team to conquer UK companies and reinvent the way Londoners eat at lunchtime.
Your mission:
As our UK Head of Sales, you will be part of the UK leadership team and report directly to our UK GM. You’ll be responsible for driving the performance of our sales team (currently 5 but will be 9 by end of year) to hit our sales targets. Working with our Marketing & Growth team, you will be designing the best sales strategy and actions plans to scale the business in a profitable way.
Your responsibilities:
Your main missions will include :
Building and driving performance of our Sales team
- With the help of our HR departments and recruiting firms, you’ll keep scaling our sales team according to business targets and needs.
- You will develop a strong and growing pipeline of qualified leads through direct and indirect sales strategies
Developing the commercial and go to market strategy
- In line with the founders’ vision and the specificities of the UK market, you’ll define the best targets to focus on and the best strategies / communication channels to reach them
- You will design the relevant sales material and brand content to support the sales process by focusing on the relevant messages and USPs for each target
- You will closely monitor sales activity and performance and report to the GM and France.
Evangelizing the market
- Participate in relevant B2B trade shows or industry events to build awareness and generate hot leads
- Work with the marketing / growth team to raise awareness and multiply touchpoints with relevant targets
- Mapping of the players we could partner with to distribute our products (consultants in the btob food industry or corporate facility companies)
- Participate actively on Foodles notoriety development to be rapidly well known as valuable perks in UK for HR Managers
Figure out the UK product-market fit
- By getting feedback from prospective and existing clients you'll contribute to adjusting the value proposition of the UK offer (pricing, product, food…)
You’ll be helped in this journey by the French teams (250+ people in Paris).
Your profile:
You are the right person for us if you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- You have 10+ years experience in a sales leadership role within a B2B service company, ideally in a startup or scaleup. You know how to manage long sales cycles 3-6m for high-ticket solutions 50-100k).
- You have managed and successfully scaled sales team of 10+
- You have significant experience in the food industry (catering, B2B solutions, vending machines, cafeteria…) and have an existing network that you can activate and leverage straight away
- You are a natural-born leader who can inspire a team and get the most of them
- You are passionate about food and the food industry
- You’re a self-starter and entrepreneurial
- You are a self starter and strong communicator
- You’re native or fluent in English
And last but nos least: you have a status that allows you to work in the UK.
